Ms. Carter made a motion at 6:02 p.m. to go into Executive Session for the purpose of personnel matters, future acquisition of property and pending litigation; seconded by Dr. Dillard and approved 6-0. Dr. Dillard made a motion at 8:07 p.m. to come out of Executive Session; seconded by Ms. Carter and approved 6-0. No action was taken in Executive Session. Mr. Miller made a motion to settle the M.J. case; seconded by Mr. Hudson and approved 6-0. Ms. Farmer stated that the Board has worked diligently regarding the superintendent search. They have strong consensus on the applicants. Mr. Downey and Dr. West join by conference call and interviews will be set in the next few weeks.No recorded vote.
