A presentation on the Compensation Salary Study for "Classified" Employees FY2015 was presented by Dr. Kelley Castlin-Gacutan and Sharon Roberts, Director of Accounting. This study will bring salaries in line with surrounding counties pay scale. After discussing how they would like the format of the study presented, the following request were made: Mr. Hudson requested information regarding people who have already received raises prior to the study; Ms. Carter would like the names of the employee and job title; Ms. Farmer would like the salaries by department; Dr. West rank the salaries highest to lowest. The board agreed that the Salary Study will be on the Board Agenda for a final vote on Thursday, October 16, 2014.No recorded vote.

Dr. Dillard made a motion to go into Executive Session at 7:25 p.m. for the purpose of personnel matters/future acquisition of property/pending litigation; seconded by Ms. Carter and approved 8-0. Ms. Carter made a motion to come out of Executive Session at 8:24 p.m.; seconded by Mr. Hudson and approved 8-0. No action was taken during Executive Session.
