GSBA School Board Appreciation Week The Georgia School Boards Association celebrated School Boards Appreciation Week March 15-19 this year. The Bibb County School District recognized its eight Board of Education members, whose dedication helps make student, faculty and staff success possible. Introduction of New Administrators The Bibb County School District introduced the following newly appointed administrators: Emanuel Frazier - Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Dr. Arrika Tunstell – Principal of Veterans Elementary School LaShun Crawford – Principal of Union Elementary School Dr. Chendra Dupree – Principal of Central High School School Michael Scott – Assistant Principal of Rutland High School Recgnition of Community Partners during COVID-19 Atrium Health Navicent and the North Central Health District were presented with resolutions in recognition of community partnership during the COVID-19 pandemic and thanked for their commitment to the District and to the community. Atrium Health Navicent and the North Central Health District both have been instrumental in the vaccination of District employees. GHSA Football Playoffs - Advancement to Round Two district high schools, Central High School and Northeast High school were recognized for advancing to the second round of the GHSA Football Playoffs.No recorded vote.
