Dr. Jones announced the 2020-2021 school year will begin virtually on September 8, 2020. The decision was made based on COVID-19 data for Bibb County and guidance from officials of the North Central Health District. The District will remain in virtual learning through at least the first quarter of the school year, which is October 30, 2020. The District will continue to monitor COVID-19 data for Bibb County before making a decision regarding the remainder of the first semester. Additionally, Dr. Jones shared athletics and other extracurricular activities will be delayed.A presentation to the board. No vote is taken.
