The Bibb County Board of Education entertained a motion to authorize the purchase order to SureLock Technology for student Chromebooks in an amount of $2,919,243.58 for the first of four payments (2025, 2026, 2027, 2028). Upon a request for clarification from Mr. Daryl Morton and advice of legal counsel, Mrs. Sherry Culves, the initial motion was amended as follows: The Bibb County Board of Education authorizes the purchase order to SureLock Technology for student Chromebooks in an amount of $2,919,243.58 for the first of four payments (2025, 2026, 2027, 2028) contingent upon the passage of FSS-11, Multi-Year Lease Purchase Agreement with Lenovo Financial Services.
