About

Dr. Sundra Woodford holds the District 5 seat on the Bibb County Board of Education and is the board's vice president for 2026, a role she also held in 2019 and 2024. She is serving a third term, her last under the board's three-term limit, which ends December 31, 2028.

Woodford is an administrator in community development who has held leadership roles with Macon Area Habitat for Humanity and the Land Bank Authority. She holds a bachelor's degree in English from Spelman College, a master's degree from Wesleyan College and a doctorate in educational leadership from Argosy University.
