About

Daryl Morton holds the at-large Post 7 seat on the Bibb County Board of Education and is its president for 2026. He has served since January 2015, and his term ends December 31, 2026. Members are limited to three terms, and he did not seek re-election. Amy Morton won Post 7 in the May 19, 2026 election, 15,234 votes to Kerry Hatcher's 11,562, and takes office January 1, 2027.

He has practiced law in Georgia since 1986 and represents clients in Social Security claims. He studied at Furman University and took his law degree at the University of Georgia.
